If your child has Cryo it is important that you educate the teacher, principal and you may want to set up an individualized educational plan.
It is improtant to share with your doctor how others with cryoglobulinemia are advocating for themselves. Below is a template or sample letter that can help your doctor to write their own letter. Many times doctors will respond better if they can review this material before your appointment; consider emailing it to the doctor if possible. You will want to make sure the letter is on your doctor’s office letterhead and has address and phone number on the final draft. Keep the letter with you as it can help you ask for an accommodation.
